At West Lumberton Baptist Church, our mission is to glorify God by making disciples of Jesus Christ. We are committed to:
Preaching and teaching God’s Word faithfully,
Worshiping in spirit and in truth,
Reaching the lost with the gospel,
Equipping believers for service, and
Loving our neighbors through compassionate ministry.
Empowered by the Holy Spirit, we strive to be a Christ-centered, Bible-based, and mission-focused community of believers.
At West Lumberton Baptist Church, we believe:
The Bible is God’s Word.
The Bible is the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God.
God is one in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
He created everything and loves us deeply.
Jesus is the Son of God.
He lived a perfect life, died for our sins, rose again, and will return one day.
Salvation is a gift.
We are saved by God’s grace through faith in Jesus—not by anything we do.
Baptism is a symbol.
We baptize believers by immersion as a public sign of their faith in Jesus.
The Church is God’s family.
We gather to worship, learn, pray, and serve others together.
We are called to live for Jesus.
With the help of the Holy Spirit, we grow in love, faith, and good works.
Jesus is coming back.
Jesus Christ will return personally and visibly to judge the living and the dead and to establish His eternal kingdom.
